A senior high school teacher from Bataan National High School was hailed 3rd place winner in the recent 69th Carlos Palanca Memorial Award – Essay Writing Category.
Reson Gregorio’s essay “Wala sa Langit si Hesus” and contribution to Philippine Literature was cited by the said foundation.
In his Facebook post, he wrote: “Kung may mas mataas pa sa isip na nangarap at sa pusong sobrang lumaban, baka iyon yung nangyari sa akin.”
He also dedicated his award to his wife, Jane Taylar Gregorio, as well as to those people who inspired his writing – friends, co-teachers, co-school paper advisers, and family.
“Kwento natin ‘to!
The awarding will be held on November 8, 2019 at The Rigodon Ballroom of The Peninsula Manila.
