Mangan Tamu Food Park to open Nov. 8

CLARK FREEPORT— In time for the upcoming Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and Yuletide season, ‘Mangan Tamu’ Pampanga Food Park is set to open on November 8 here.

Through the initiative of Clark Development Corporation (CDC), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Pampanga, the food park will promote home-grown delicacies and products from Pampanga and other areas in Central Luzon.

Mangan Tamu (Let’s Eat) will feature more than 50 local concessionaires including merchants of Comercio Central. The food park does not only aim to showcase the wide array of local goods and products but it also intends to stimulate tourism growth in the area.

Some of the local products that will be available in the food park includes authentic Kapampangan products from Kabigting’s, Aling Lucing, Lola Nor’s and Chef Sau’s Kitchen among others. A pasalubong center will also be opened at Mangan Tamu.

To officially commemorate the establishment of the food park, a ceremonial opening activity will take place on Nov. 12 which will be led by CDC, Provincial Government of Pampanga, Department of Tourism, Department of Trade and Industry, Local Government Units of Mabalacat City, Angeles City, Porac, Pampanga and Bamban and Capas in Tarlac.
