ANGELES CITY – Caretakers of a warehouse in Brgy. Agapito Del Rosario have caught an intruder who was in the act of stealing a split-type airconditioner.
PCol Joyce Patrick Sangalang, City Director of the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) identified the suspect as Arnold Bustillo, 19 years old and a resident of 2930 Bugallon St., Brgy Agapito Del Rosario.
Bustillo reportedly entered the warehouse located at 50 T. Bugallon St., in the same barangay on Sunday afternoon. The suspect was spotted at the warehouse’s cellar.
The caretakers of the warehouse identified as Richard Tharaldsen and Joel Angeles have caught Bustillo and turned him over to PMaj Ronald Macalino of the Angeles City Police Station 6.
Further investigation showed the suspect entered the warehouse by using an improvised ladder and entered the cellar by destroying the door’s padlock. The following items were also reported missing: 1 unit of Chingo Aircondition 1.5HP worth P12,000, 1 Set Industrial Fan Assembly Exhaust/Fresh Air Propeller Mounting Assembly worth P48,000.00 and 1 lot Assorted metal scrap/GI Pipes worth P9,000.00
The suspect was was brought to Police Station 6 while charges are being readied against him at the Angeles City Prosecutor’s Office.
