Bataan Governor Albert Garcia, Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) Chairman and Administrator Emmanuel Pineda and former Miss Bataan beauty queen, Ms. Charlene Versoza recently have recently opened the Una Bella Hearing Center at the Mariveles District Hospital (MDH) inside AFAB.
Governor Garcia said this is the first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project inside a district hospital.
Una Bella is a hearing center that offers all audiologic services to children and adults alike, and to date, has attended to several patients with various hearing problems.
After the blessing of Una Bella Hearing Center, Gov. Garcia was joined by MDH Chief of Hospital Dr. Hector Santos and Mariveles Mayor Atty. Jocelyn Castaneda in his ocular inspection of the facilities and equipment of the 3-storey hospital building.
The Governor had an opportunity to interact with the patients and their relatives about the benefits of having their own district hospital in the said municipality.
