CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga (PIA) — The Private sector partnered with local government units in Pampanga in providing aid to frontliners in the battle against coronavirus disease.
Fresh Options Meat Shop donated 1,500 kilos of chicken for the medical personnel of Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital.
Moreover, former San Simon Mayor Rodrigo Canlas and businessman Stephen Go turned over 5,000 facemasks to the provincial government.
Rotary Club of Greater Floridablanca led by Rotarian Marion Ocampo, on the other hand, turned over 500 pieces of reusable facemasks to the Capitol.
Alex Fung, Chief Executive Officer of Vontobel Wealth Management Asia, provided additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the frontliners.
He also gave about 1,000 pieces of N95 facemasks and 20 pieces of PPE suits intended to secure the safety of the front-line personnel.
Moreover, Reggie Tolentino of Pampanga Chamber of Commerce vowed to give Acrylic Aerosol Boxes to the provincial and district hospitals.
And lastly, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Pampanga donated 1,050 facemasks which were made by training program graduates at Global Citi College of Science and Technology in Sta. Ana town.
In a statement, Governor Dennis Pineda lauded the support given by the private sector to the province.
“These are the times where unity and collaboration must reign in the hearts of every Kapampangan,” he said.
The governor assured the private sector that all donations will be fully maximized to aid the frontliners.
