Bacolor MPS sends relief aid to indigent families amid COVID 19

BACOLOR – In this time of crisis, the Bacolor Municipal Police Station (MPS), led by Major Louie Gonzaga, continuously sends relief packs to indigent families, covering all 21 barangays here.

According to Gonzaga, this is in line with the Rektang Bayanihan and Adopt-A-Family with Smiling Heart which aims to deliver hope, love, and concern to the families who were greatly affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in the entire Luzon due to the coronavirus disease (COVID 19) pandemic.

Gonzaga, with personnel from Bacolor MPS, conducts house-to-house visits to distribute food packs.

He is also encouraging his fellow kababayans to help others by sharing their blessings, especially in this trying time.

In his Facebook post, he also committed to donate his own hazard pay to purchase basic necessities to the indigent beneficiaries.

“Yung Hazard Pay if ma receive pambili ko de lata, noodles at gatas na papamahagi namin,” he wrote.

Gonzaga also thanked the efforts of his constituents to give food for the frontliners, as well as to donate basic needs for the relief goods distribution.

The relief packs distribution will be until the ECQ.
