ANGELES CITY – The Department of Foreign Affairs here has launched its online appointment system in a bid to streamline issuance of passports.
DFA-Angeles Officer-in-Charge Liza L. Dean said the “DFA has officially launched its online appointment system on June 24, 2016. The move is in line with the Department’s e-passport system upgrade, to further improve its front line services by providing the public the convenience of obtaining online appointed date and time for their passport transactions.”
Dean said “senior citizens, PWDs (person with disability), pregnant women and minor children (7 years old and below) and OFWs with contracts and confirmed return plane ticket are exempted from obtaining online appointments.”
The DFA-Angeles is located at the 3rd floor of Marquee Mall near the Municipal Hall of Angeles City.
Appointments may be obtained by visiting the website: https://www.passport.gov.ph. The DFA website is user-friendly as it guides applicants to follow simple steps.
The DFA online appointment system was launched in 20 other Regional Consular and Satellite Offices in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
