CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Office of Civil Defense Region 3 (OCD) distributed about 6,000 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sets to health facilities in the province of Bulacan.
Recipients include Qualimed Health Network and Skyline Hospital and Medical Center which are both located in City of San Jose del Monte; Sacred Heart Hospital of Malolos Inc.; Marcelo-Padilla Children’s and Medical Hospital Corporation in Plaridel; Our Lady of Mercy General Hospital, Inc. in Pulilan; and St. Paul Hospital Bulacan Inc. in Bocaue.
“Each set includes a surgical gown, shoe cover, medical goggles, KN95 mask, medical gloves, surgical mask, protective gown and head cover,” OCD Regional Director Maria Theresa Escolano said.
The distributed sets are part of the PPEs procured by Department of Health to ensure that health workers are duly protected while providing care for coronavirus disease patients.
Delivery and distribution of the PPEs was made possible through the help of the Army 48thInfantry Battalion and Department of Public Works and Highways.
Other hospitals in Central Luzon will receive their allocated PPEs in the succeeding days.
