ANGELES CITY — The Angeles City Police Office (ACPO) arrested five suspects who yielded shabu worth P74,800 during two separate operations here.
PCapt Agnes P. Nolasco identified the five as Efren Eneria, 59 years old; Lito Luna, 51 years old, both residents of Biglang Sibol, Metro Clark, Barangay Pulong Maragul, Angeles City; Kevin Lester Fajardo, 22 years old and resident of Phase 1, Metro Clark, Barangay Pulong Maragul,
Eneria, Luna, and Fajardo were arrested at around 8pm on May 12, 2020 at Sitio Ipil, Barangay Pulong Maragul, Angeles City during a buy-bust operation led by joint elements of the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit led by the Police Station 3 and Police Station 4.
Confiscated from Eneriais one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu and the P500 marked money. Luna and Fajardo were earlier caught while in the act of transacting illegal drugs weighing six grams with an estimated street value of P40,800.
In a separate buy-bust operation conducted on May 6, two other suspects identified as Jeffrey Lingat, listed in ACPO Drug watch-list, 38 years old, resident of Sitio Sto. Nino, Barangay Balibago, Angeles City; and Edwin Buenavista, 44 years old and resident of Sitio Marimar, Barangay Sapang Bato, Angeles City were also arrested.
Lingat and Buenavista were arrested at around 9:30 am along Along Kalayaan St., Brgy. Lourdes North West, Angeles City.
Based on the report, joint operatives of Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Intel Section/Tracker Team of Police Station 4, led by PMaj Aris B. Gonzales, Station Commander, conducted buy bust operation, which led to the arrest of the suspects.
Confiscated from Lingay and Buenavista are six pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing shabu worth P34,000 and a 500 bill marked money.
Charges are now being readied against the five suspects for violating RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at the Angeles City Prosecutor’s Office.
