CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Philippine National Police Chief PGen. Camilo Pancratius Cascolan led today the inauguration and groundbreaking of a number of new facilities inside the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO 3) Headquarters in Camp Olivas.
These include the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) Activity Center, Regional Advisory Council Pulis Makatao Malasakit Center, Containerized Quarantine Facility, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB 3) Motor Pool and Civil Disturbance Management Storage, RMFB 3 Female Barracks, improved PRO 3 Firing Range, and Search, Rescue and Retrieval Equipment House.
Also, covered Tennis Court, PRO 3 Aqua Culture, PRO 3 Japanese Koi Garden, PRO 3 Bayanihan Multi-Purpose Center, Regional Director’s Glass House, Balai Kapampangan, and PRO 3 Swimming Pool.
“The improvement of infrastructures is a manifestation of a truly strong and effective police-community partnership. As such, our people have regained their trust and confidence to their police with their all-out support to make all these materialize,” Cascolan said.
“I must say that the implementation of the current priority projects of PRO 3, most especially Joint Industrial Peace Concerns Office, KKDAT, Rektang Konek Aksyon Agad, Kaligkasan, Overseas Filipino Workers Desk, Expanded Caravan and Foodbank have contributed immensely to the anti-criminality campaign against illegal drugs, and in our effort in ending local communist armed conflict. It also contributed to the poverty alleviation efforts of the government especially during this time of pandemic,” he furthered.
Erstwhile Police Regional Director PBGen. Rhodel Sermonia said PRO3’s stakeholders and private individuals funded these edifices which created a camp more conducive for the delivery of best police services to all.
