CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — About 20 members of the Rural Improvement Club of Cabiao, Nueva Ecija attended a two-day training on organic vegetable training production.
Organized by Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL) and Municipal Agriculture Office, it aims to strengthen the promotion and establishment of the organic vegetable garden and community garden in their vicinity.
“Participants were encouraged to use available resources such as plastic bottles and other materials in their vegetable gardens to lessen the garbage in the community,” ATI-CL Center Director Veronica Concepcion Esguerra said.
Participants each received assorted vegetable seeds, garden tools, and other agricultural inputs as start-up kits for the establishment of their organic vegetable garden.
