Vice President Leni Robredo keynotes the Philippine Commission on Women’s 18-Day to End Violence Against Women (VAW) event at the Philippine International Convention Center on Friday. The campaign is observed annually from November 25 to December 12, 2016. “The Filipina today is stronger and smarter than she has ever been. But the challenges remain, and there is tremendous work for us to do. The campaign we launch today is our call for the better treatment of women everywhere,” Robredo said.
