For three consecutive years now, the City of San Fernando Pampanga Local Civil Registry Office (CSFP-LCRO) has bagged another award as one of the Top 10 Outstanding Local Civil Registry Office (Super Extra Large Category) of the Philippines.
During the closing ceremony of the 31st civil registration month celebration, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) hailed CSFP-LCRO for its exemplary service to the Fernandinos. CSFP-LCRO placed fourth in 2018, and ninth in 2019 out of more than 2000 civil registrar offices.
In 2017, it was further cited as the second Most Outstanding LCRO in the country.
City Civil Registrar Rimando E. Umali said they are working very hard to attain their vision to be the country’s Most Outstanding LCRO.
“We are working extra miles to fulfill our vision and serve the Fernandinos. It is not the award that is most important. It is the struggle for our office to be awarded as one among the Top 10 Outstanding Local Civil Registry Offices of the Philippines that makes us triumphant,” Umali said.
To continuously deliver efficient and effective service to the public, Umali said, they regularly conduct conventions with partners in civil registration, information dissemination on the importance of civil registration, mass wedding, mobile civil registrations in schools and barangays, coaching and mentoring of partners in civil registrations, among others.
