Bulacan officials and members of the National Coalition of Lingkod Bayan Advocacy Groups and Force Multipliers have signified their support to the programs of PNP Chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar against criminality and terrorism.
Eleazar visited Bulacan on Tuesday during his first command visit in the province.
The Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) welcomed Gen. Eleazar along with the top officials from the National Headquarters during his first command visit at Camp General Alejo Santos. Eleazar has also inspected the Malolos City Police Station on their compliance with the implementation of “intensified cleanliness policy” which was followed by a courtesy call to Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando at the Bulacan Provincial Capitol.
Eleazar also administered the oath-taking ceremony of the National Coalition of Lingkod Bayan Advocacy Groups and Force Multipliers at the Victory Church Building in Barangay Sumapa in the City of Malolos as he cited the vital support of these sectors.
“This is a meaningful collaboration with stakeholders and advocacy support groups, isang pagpapatunay na ang bayanihan at pagtutulungan gaya nito ay isang paraan para sa mas epektibong programa ng kapulisan. Through this collaboration we can get your trust and for us to become more effective to serve the people,” Eleazar said.
The said group took oath and signed a pledge of commitment to the PNP’s program against crime.
Eleazar and Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando have also distributed grocery packs to some 50 indigents of Malolos under the PNP’s “BARANGAYanihan Help and Food Bank” project.
Earlier, Eleazar and Fernando held a meeting with the Bulacan local chief executives headed by Bulacan Mayors League president Mayor Ambrosio “Boy” Cruz Jr. of Guiguinto town.
Eleazar then made a surprise visit to the Malolos City Police Station and was impressed by its cleanliness. “The cleanliness of the surroundings of the Malolos station is also an indication of the clean service of our police officers here, hoping that it will be serve as an example to other city and municipal police stations in Bulacan,” said Eleazar.
Eleazar along with Maj. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, head of the PNP Directorate for Police Community Relations, Presidential Task Force on Media Security Executive Director, Undersecretary Joel Sy Egco, and Gov. Fernando have also appeared in the “Rektang Konek: Aksyon Agad”, a multi-media interactive program of the PNP that enhances the image-building capability program of different government agencies by providing quick public services to the communities, both local and abroad.
