CLARK FREEPORT—Clark Development Corporation (CDC) welcomes the Yuletide season with the lighting of a 40-foot high Christmas tree at the Clark Parade Grounds on November 12, 2021.
With the theme “Bringing Back Life to Clark”, the program for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony will commence at 5:00 in the afternoon. It will be led and attended by CDC Chairman Atty. Edgardo Pamintuan, CDC President and CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan, and Metro Clark local government executives.
Meanwhile, the giant holiday décor made up of G.I. pipe frames and plastic vinyl with 2,000 pieces of LED light bulbs will serve as a welcome sight and attraction to all visitors and guests of the Freeport. Other decorations installed along Clark’s major thoroughfares will also complement the holiday spirit here.
By putting up these Christmas decorations, CDC intends to pay homage to the most revered and celebrated holiday in the country. Aside from this, the state-owned firm also aims to ignite resilience, hope, and recovery of businesses and local tourism from the far-reaching effects of the pandemic.
CDC Tourism Promotions Division in coordination with CDC Communications Division organized the said lighting event. Entertainment and live performances will also be held towards the end of the program.
