SM City Olongapo Central security team headed by Customer Relations Service Manager Michael Mungcal visited Niños Pagasa Center in Old Cabalan, Olongapo City recently to conduct the annual gift giving to kids and young adults with disabilities and deformities.
“Maraming maraming salamat sa inyo (SM) at taun taon ay narito kayo para ibahagi ang inyong oras at kayamanan sa amin. Nawa’y bigyan pa kayo ng mas mahabang buhay at kayamanan at maging prosperous sa inyong mga gawain para patuloy na makatulong sa mga nangangailangan. Yan pong ibinibigay nyo sa amin ay buong puso naming tinatanggap,” said Araceli Menor, director of Niño’s Pagasa Center.
There’s no better way to say you appreciate someone than through gift giving. You can make someone happy with something simple. It doesn’t need to be expensive.
Through the efforts of SM security personnel, and employees they were able to donate sacks of rice, bottled water, fruits, biscuits, assorted essential items and toys.
“Sabi nila PWD is no longer person with disabilities, they are Person with Dreams and Dignity,” Menor added.
Niño’s Pagasa Center is a non-profit organization established to help provide the special needs of impoverished, malnourished, and sick children and young adults with disabilities and with deformities.
Aside from this initiative, SM Supermalls will also be distributing Bears of Joy plushies to chosen beneficiaries.
