The Pampanga Police Provincial Office has launched the “Talipapa Project” aimed at helping Indigenous Peoples (IPs) in Pampanga particularly in the towns of Porac and Floridablanca and Mabalacat City.
Acting Provincial Director PCol. Alvin R. Consolacion, spearheaded the livelihood initiative which coincided with the “Duterte Legacy Caravan Project thru Convergence of all Government Agencies,” hosted on April 18 by the Police Regional Office 3 at Camp Olivas in the City of San Fernando and facilitated by PLtGen. Rhodel O Sermonia, Deputy Chief PNP for Administration, Officials and members of different PNP units, local government units, advocacy support groups and force multipliers from across Region 3 have attended the event that will be implemented in the entire Central Luzon to help Aetas pull through the hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Being sold at the event are freshly harvested fruits, vegetables and root crops.
Pampanga PPO duplicated the Talipapa Project that started in Bataan during the upsurge of COVID-19 cases in the province.Consolacion has vowed to bring sustainable and resilient programs that will benefit Kapampangans especially in these trying times, in line with the order PBGen.
