Bataan Governor Joet S. Garcia on July 1, his first day in office as the Chief Executive of the province, led the blessing and opening of the 1Bataan Housing Showroom for a housing project for the workers inside the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) and informal settlers in Mariveles, Bataan.
According to Gov. Joet Garcia, the 1Bataan Housing Showroom will house the designs of housing units to be built on a 13.7-hectares of land allocated for the township project for more than 9,000 FAB workers.
At the same time, the Governor signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Provincial Government of Bataan, Pag-IBIG Fund and Treehouse Properties and Development Corporation for the loan program of the Casa Valencia to be built, a housing project for government workers in Balanga City.
In the same event, Gov. Joet signed the MOU between PGB and Pag-IBIG for the 1Bataan Village Township Program in Mariveles.
The said occasion was also graced by Bataan 2nd District Rep. Abet Garcia, Bataan 3rd District Representative Gila Garcia, Pusong Pinoy Partylist Rep. Jett Nisay, Bataan Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Mariveles Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion; Mr. Philip S. Keith, Vice President of Home Lending Operations Luzon Group; Engr. Maximillian Quintos, President of Metro Stonerich Corporation;
AFAB Administrator Engr. Emmanuel Pineda, Architect Henry Mayuga, and members of the Coalition of Labor Unions in Bataan.
“We believe that the provision of housing programs is a big step to strengthen the livelihood of every family that will lead us to a more prosperous future,” Gov. Joet Garcia said.
