Aiming for a niche in the pasalubong food products market, the Buri Cu Buri Mu Food Products Manufacturing and Trading opened its maiden pasalubong stall on September 7 at the Jumbo Jenra Mall in Dau, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Having started its operation only this year amid the lingering pandemic, Lurgarda Basa Punay said during the blessing and grand opening that her food products business envisions to promote what she describes a modern Kapampangan taste.
She said that A&C Pasalubong Center at Jumbo Jenra Mall offers a heirloom recipe: Burung Gule.
Burung Gule is a pickled mix of veggies such as carrots, bitter gourd, bell pepper, garlic, onion and finger chillies.
Among the Buri Cu Buri Cu food products being sold at the stall are: variants of Vinegar; Coffee Drips and Beans from Sagada, Benguet and Sagada; Gourmet Tuyo and Gourmet Tinapa.
