A van abandoned at the parking lot of a supermarket in Pampanga on Friday yielded at least P1.3 billion worth of shabu.
The Mabalacat City police in coordination with National Bureau of Investigation TFAID team led by Atty. Eduardo Ramos Jr. raided the parking area of SM Hypermarket in Bgy. Camachiles, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
The raiding team said the abandoned red Avanza with plate ZGS643 at the parking area was loaded with at least 200 kilos of shabu valued at P1.3 billion.
The NBI and PRO3 are now working together to determine the suspects behind the abandoned drugs.
“May this latest haul be a clear warning to drug traffickers that the PRO3 police are serious in the campaign to achieve a drug-free region,” said PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr.
