CDC lauds Ford Everest Club PH for Guinness World Record feat

The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) lauded the Ford Everest Club Philippines (FECP) for securing and breaking the Guinness World Records on ‘Largest Car Horn Ensemble’ title.

The event took place on Sunday, August 27 at New Clark City here. It featured over 1,077 Ford Everests and drew a crowd of approximately 5,000.

In a synchronized effort, the participating vehicles honked their horns to the iconic tune of “Philippine Jeepney/Let’s Go” for a duration of one-minute and seven seconds before proceeding to Subic Bay International Airport.

In her welcome message, CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera highlighted  Clark’s  state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure, making it a  leading  sports and tourism destination.

“And what better place to make history than Clark, known for its top-notch infrastructure and its reputation as a preferred tourism destination? Clark, with its modernity and natural beauty, sets the stage for our remarkable feat,” she said.

Other key officials who were present during  the event included CDC Director Paul Christian Cervantes, CDC Tourism Promotions Manager Elenita Lorenzo, and  Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) Officer-in-Charge for Investment Promotions and Marketing Department Michelle De Vera.

This event also marked FECP’s sixth anniversary as one of the Philippines’ largest car clubs. With 15,000 members, FECP claimed the title, surpassing the previous record held by the MINI Club of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Guinness, the ultimate authority on record-breaking achievements since 1955, officially recognized this remarkable accomplishment.
