CAMP OLIVAS — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) cops on Saturday apprehended two men allegedly involved in illegal drug trade during an entrapment operation in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
The suspects were identified as Mike Yumul, 43, a high value target and member of Sputnik Gang; and Joanna Marie Lacanilao, 35, both residents of Mabalacat City.
Members of PDEU Pampanga PPO conducted the buy-bust in Bgy. Dau, Mabalacat City and confiscated at least 60 grams of shabu worth P408,000, the marked money, a weighing scale, one mobile phone, P3,000 cash, a sling bag and a vehicle.
The suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
“Illegal drugs continue to plague our communities, destroying lives and futures but our dedicated law enforcement teams remain unwavering in their commitment to combating this menace. We will intensify our efforts in the ongoing battle against illegal drugs,” said PRO3 Director General Jose Hidalgo.
