BALER, Aurora — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed two multipurpose buildings in two public elementary schools in the province of Aurora.
These are located at Calao Elementary School in barangay Wenceslao, Maria Aurora town; and at L. Pimentel Elementary School in San Luis town.
DPWH Aurora District Engineer Roderick Andal said these covered courts were formally inaugurated last week.
“They now provide students with an area where they can engage in academic-related activities that can help improve their learning abilities,” he furthered.
The agency earmarked P4 million for the covered court at Calao Elementary School while P6.44 million was allotted for the multipurpose facility at L. Pimentel Elementary School.
Both projects were funded under the 2023 General Appropriations Act.
