CAMP OLIVAS — Some 40 individuals have been arrested in Bulacan and Pampanga as the PRO3 enforced the two-day liquor ban that started today, Sunday.
“Since the enforcement of the liquor ban commenced, our diligent efforts have led to the apprehension of 38 violators in a span of merely six hours,” said PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr.
Of the apprehended individuals, 25 were from Lubao, Pampanga; five from Guiguinto and eight from the City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
Hidalgo has ordered his to strictly implement the two- day liquor ban to ensure a smooth and peaceful elections.
He reminded the public that selling, distributing, serving, buying or consuming liquor are also strictly prohibited.
