CAMP OLIVAS – PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr on Thursday reported the arrest of a police officer in an entrapment operation in City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Hidalgo said the suspect was caught by joint operatives of the Pampanga Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Intelligence Unit- Pampanga PPO ,1st Provincial Mobile Force Company- Pampanga PPO and San Fernando CPS in a buy-bust in Barangay Del Pilar, City of San Fernando, where at least 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000 had been seized from the cop.
The 43-year-old police officer is assigned at the San Fernando City police and a resident of Barangay San Nicolas, City of San Fernando.
“We are relentless in our internal cleansing efforts and this is another proof that the police organization does not tolerate any wrongdoing or criminal involvement of our personnel,” Hidalgo stressed.
