Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos — Two armed suspects were killed in an encounter in Meycauayan, while another was arrested for firing his gun and harassing residents in Norzagaray.
Bulacan police commander Col. Relly Arnedo said the Mecauayan police promptly responded to a shooting incident in Bgy. Bahay Pare, Meycauayan City.
The police went to the area where they encountered two suspects firing shots at the barangay hall of Barangay Bahay Pare which resulted in shootout.
The shootout led to the killing of the two suspects, both armed with .45 pistols.
Arnedo said there were no casualties on the part of the PNP personnel, while two residents were hit by the suspects and were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital.
Meanwhile, in Norzagaray, an 18-year-old male suspect, of Bgy. Bagong Pagasa, Quezon City, was arrested by personnel of the Norzagaray police.
The suspect was firing shots and harassing passersby.
The responding cops arrested the suspect and seized from him was a loaded .38 gun.
The suspect will be charged with alarm and scandal and violation of R.A. 10591.
