FOUR people were killed while 26 others were injured when a passenger bus plowed several vehicles in Dinalupihan, Bataan on Wednesday night.
A report submitted to Police Regional Office 3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. identified one of the fatalities as Camille Isidro, 25, of Bgy. Naparing, Dinalupihan town.
Isidro and the two other male fatalities were riding a motorcycle when struck by the bus.
The names of the two men and the fourth fatality were being verified.
The accident occurred at 7 p.m. on Wednesday on Olongapo-Gapan Road in Bgy. Bangal in Dinalupihan.
An initial investigation showed the Arayat Liner passenger bus driven by Edwin Sandoval, 54, was on its way to Olongapo City from Pampanga when the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a motorcycle, two tricycles and an L300 van, before colliding with a passenger jeep on the opposite lane.
The impact caused the jeep to fall to its side while the bus crashed on the side of the road
Responding lawmen arrested the bus driver, who is facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide, multiple physical injuries, and damage to properties.
