Clark hosts ‘Panata at Tradisyun‘: A creative celebration of faith

CLARK FREEPORT— The Clark Museum and Clark Parade Grounds are poised to become havens for art and religious devotees, hosting the opening of “Panata at Tradisyun,” an art exhibit scheduled for March 9, 2024 (Saturday).

As Holy Week approaches, this event aims to commemorate and celebrate the rich cultural and spiritual heritage through artistic expression.

Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, President and CEO of Clark Development Corporation (CDC), and Richard Daenos, Director of the Department of Tourism Regional Office III, will give welcome remarks after the exhibit’s introduction at around 3:40 p.m.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the museum exhibit, showcasing contemporary ecclesiastical artists, will take place at 4:00 p.m., followed by a tour and blessing of the stations of the cross.

Meanwhile, “Tulauk,” the Lenten Sarsuela co-written and directed by Andy Alviz and Catholic priest Deo Galang, starts at 6:30 p.m.

The cast and crew of Teatru Kapampangan and Arti Sta. Rita will depict the sacrifices of Jesus Christ through 25 scenes and 17 original songs, all performed in the Kapampangan vernacular.
