Architect Alex Tumang, brother of former Mayor Teddy Tumang, filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for mayor of Mexico, Pampanga, on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
If elected, Alex Tumang aims to prioritize infrastructure development and advance his brother’s initiative to elevate the municipality to a component city. Key projects include a new municipal hall, a convention center, and an expanded public market with additional parking. His running mate, Vice Mayor Site Siron, is committed to passing laws that benefit the residents of Mexico and support Tumang’s initiatives.
Their council slate includes Rex Calma, Trina Dizon, Jaypee Gozun, Dexter Colis, Ariel Bonus, Elimar Ventura, Ludet Sicat, and Perry Dizon.
Supporting the slate are former Mayor Teddy Tumang and his daughter, Dr. Hazel Tumang, who plans to file her COC for Congress in the 3rd district on October 5.
