The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has advised transport providers to expand services and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Inspections of public utility drivers are underway, ensuring that health guidelines are strictly observed.
In Metro Manila and Pampanga large cemeteries like Manila North Cemetery, Loyola Memorial Park, Eternal Peace Garden, Holy Memorial Park, La Pieta have been cleaned and prepared. Local government units have set up medical stations and lost-and-found booths to assist visitors.
Despite the looming typhoon, authorities are urging the public to remain cautious, adhere to regulations, and prioritize safety during the solemn observance.
