Police outposts boost security across Central Luzon

The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has intensified its presence across Central Luzon under the direction of Regional Director PBGEN Redrico A. Maranan. This initiative follows Maranan’s anti-criminality approach, which emphasizes Enhanced Police Presence, Quick Response Time, and Counter Action against drug syndicates, criminal gangs, and private armed groups—all aiming to create a safer Region 3.

PBGEN Maranan ordered the installation of police outposts in high-traffic areas and along highways to prevent potential crimes and facilitate faster response times for police assistance in emergencies. These outposts allow police to respond quickly to various incidents and address the immediate needs of the community.

In addition, Maranan instructed all Provincial, City, and Municipal Police Stations to intensify anti-crime operations, including Oplan Galugad, Oplan Sita, and regular motorcycle patrols, particularly at checkpoints, to thwart criminal activities.

“When police presence is strong in public areas, communities feel safe,” Maranan stated, urging the public to support police initiatives against crime. “We cannot succeed alone; we need everyone’s support.”

He added that officers assigned to outposts would be closely monitored, with a directive that those absent from their posts will face consequences.
