Mylyn, continuing her family’s initiative, has been distributing prescription eyeglasses to students and teachers across several schools in San Fernando. The program, which has been a family effort, is largely driven by Mylyn’s dedication to ensuring better vision for students.
So far, prescription eyeglasses have been distributed to:
687 students at Del Pilar Integrated School
335 at Baliti Integrated School
357 at Sindalan Elementary School
761 at Sindalan National High School
217 at Del Carmen Elementary School
250 at Juliana Elementary School
In addition to students, non-teaching staff and parents have also benefited from the program.
Mylyn believes that clear vision leads to better learning opportunities for children, emphasizing that improving sight is key to academic success. This initiative reflects her deep commitment to the well-being and education of local youth.
