Hann Reserve is a 450-hectare eco-luxury sanctuary resort development of Hann Philippines in New Clark City, Tarlac. It features three 18-hole championship golf courses designed by Nicklaus Design, KJ Choi, and Sir Nick Faldo, along with the only PGA-affiliated player development facilities in the country. Complementing these amenities are prestigious international luxury hotel brands, including Banyan Tree, SO, Sofitel, and Emblems by Accor, as well as The Luxury Collection, Westin by Marriott International, and Intercontinental Hotel by Intercontinental Hotels Group. Hann Reserve will also feature a commercial center, casino, exclusive residences, an international school, and a 10-hectare public park. It aims to be a model for sustainability and eco-tourism, highlighting local culture, heritage, and community.
On November 22, 2024, the groundbreaking of the 10-hectare public park commitment of Hann Reserve to the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) took place. The public park is designed to serve the community of New Clark City in Tarlac. It is open to residents and visitors providing a spacious area to relax, connect with nature, and engage in recreational activities.
The public park concept intertwines the cultural richness of Philippine folklore with the aesthetic of Mount Pinatubo, offering an immersive experience where nature and heritage converge. The park provides a space for exploration, relaxation, and cultural appreciation through creative designs inspired by traditional dances and volcanic elements.
Designed for thrill-seekers, Phase 1 Active Zone, features dynamic landscapes inspired by the flowing forms and contours of Mount Pinatubo. Mountain bike trails, fitness areas, and elevated treetop bridges create an exhilarating environment for physical challenges and adventure. Folklore-inspired elements enrich the experience through thoughtfully designed seating areas, signages, and public art plazas, where stone and wood textures evoke cultural and natural connections, enhancing the zone’s immersive appeal. This zone will be completed by 2026.
A serene haven inspired by woven artistry and volcanic tranquility, Phase 2 Passive Zone, offers shaded walkways, tranquil seating, and artistic sculptures. Visitors can relax and connect with nature in a setting that celebrates cultural and natural harmony. This zone is set to be completed by 2028.
The vibrant Phase 3 Kids Zone is expected to be completed by 2030. This zone combines the playful folklore-inspired stick structures with volcanic rock formations, fostering imaginative play and creativity. Slides, climbing areas, and interactive elements encourage young adventurers to explore a world brimming with wonder.
The ongoing construction of Phase 1 adheres to the committed land area of 3.45 hectares. The view deck shall offer stunning views of the natural and built environment and all other amenities, which will be incorporated into the final design. Elevated walkways are a vital feature that allows flora to grow around and even underneath pathways. The mini golf area focuses on accessibility to ensure it is enjoyable for all ages. The project prioritizes sustainability by maximizing the use of existing vegetation and native trees. The greenery will consist of resilient plants that support natural growth patterns and require minimal watering. The park is designed to accommodate visitors of all abilities, with accessible features like the amphitheater, mini golf, walkways, and picnic areas. Public art will be installed throughout the park to enhance the visitor experience and foster inclusivity.
By incorporating innovative design elements, prioritizing sustainability, and ensuring accessibility, the public park will become a tourist attraction for generations.
