Grade school students warmly welcomed Senator Lito Lapid during the inauguration of a newly constructed 4-storey school building at Francisco Henson Elementary School in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Porac, Pampanga, on the morning of January 17.
The project, completed in partnership with PAGCOR, features 12 classrooms and will benefit around 1,600 students who previously shared limited schedules in the old school facilities.
In his speech, Lapid encouraged the students to prioritize their studies and make the most of each day to learn and grow.
Barangay Chairman Bong Guiao and Porac Mayor Myla Clarete expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the senator for spearheading the construction of the much-needed facility.
Mayor Clarete also voiced her support for Lapid’s reelection bid, saying the people of Porac stand firmly behind his candidacy.
The new school building is expected to improve the quality of education and provide a better learning environment for Porac students.
