Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. directed a visit to the newly-expanded Command Center on February 4, 2025, in preparation for its official inauguration this Thursday. The visit was led by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel.
They were accompanied by key city officials, including Command Center Chief Michael Lising, Gender and Development Officer Mina Cabiles, General Services Officer Evangeline Malonzo, and City Engineer’s Officer-in-Charge Helen Ayro, along with Engr. Angelo Tayag from the City Engineering Office.
As part of the expansion, 63 additional security cameras were installed at strategic locations throughout the city, further enhancing the city’s surveillance and monitoring capabilities.
The upgrade to the Command Center is part of Mayor Lazatin’s ongoing efforts to strengthen crime prevention, law enforcement, and emergency response systems across Angeles City.
The expansion highlights the administration’s commitment to ensuring public safety through technological advancements and proactive measures in addressing security concerns.
