PORAC, Pampanga – Local officials and law enforcement leaders inaugurated the newly constructed PHP 28-million Porac Municipal Police Station on February 5, marking a significant step in strengthening security and public safety in the town.
The new police station, located in Barangay Cangatba, is equipped with modern facilities designed to enhance law enforcement operations, improve service delivery, and boost crime prevention efforts. Officials said the upgraded infrastructure will enable a more effective response to public safety concerns.

Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda led the ceremony, with Senator Lito Lapid serving as the guest of honor. Also in attendance were Acting Porac Mayor Myla D. Clarete, TIEZA Chief Operating Officer Mark Lapid, and Pampanga Provincial Police Office Director PCOL Jay Dimaandal.
During his speech, Dimaandal underscored the importance of the new facility in community policing, emphasizing that the upgraded station will foster stronger collaboration between law enforcement and residents to maintain peace and order.
The project was funded through the Tatag ng Imprastraktura para sa Kapayapaan at Seguridad (TIKAS) Program, a joint initiative of the Department of National Defense (DND) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). The program aims to improve security-related infrastructure across the country.
The inauguration coincided with the opening of the new Porac Municipal Hall and the ceremonial turnover of transport vehicles to 20 local government units (LGUs) in Pampanga, further reinforcing efforts to enhance local governance and law enforcement capabilities.
