A total of 185 students from the University of Assumption received financial assistance under the “Tulong Dunong Program” of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), in partnership with the Pampanga Provincial Government. The initiative aims to support financially challenged students in their pursuit of higher education.

Officials from CHED and the Provincial Library led the distribution of cash assistance to beneficiaries. Former Board Member Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab also attended the event to show her support. Each student beneficiary received ₱7,000 in aid.

In Pampanga alone, nearly 2,000 students regularly receive financial aid through the program. The payout is distributed twice a year, corresponding to each semester, ensuring continued support for eligible students.
