The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has cited the Angeles City Government led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. for its “Good Financial Housekeeping” (GFH) in 2024.
The Angeles City LGU is among the 15 cities in Central Luzon cited for its 2024 Good Financial Housekeeping.
Mayor Lazatin commended the efforts and hard work of the Local Finance Committee composed of Acting City Treasurer Arneil Escolango, City Budget Officer Jane Nakpil, and City Accountant Lilibeth Enriquez.
Good Financial Housekeeping meant that local governments passed the reporting guidelines of the Commission of Audit and declared their financial reports online and in conspicuous places in communities according to the Full Disclosure Policy.
