Gov. Pineda, Vice Gov. Nanay join peace pact

BACOLOR, Pampanga – Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda signed the peace covenant for Safe, Accurate, Free, and Fair Elections (SAFE) 2025 at San Guillermo Parish Church on Tuesday, March 4.

The Pinedas arrived after attending pre-scheduled Kapitolyo sa Barangay programs in Macabebe, which coincided with the rescheduled interfaith rally and peace pact signing. Earlier, gubernatorial candidate Danilo Baylon and his running mate Ed Panlilio also signed the covenant alongside other provincial candidates.

Pampanga election supervisor Atty. Lydia Florentino-Pangilinan, Pampanga police director Col. Jay C. Dimaandal, and 70th Infantry Battalion commander Lt. Col. Ryan Joseph Cayton, who organized the event, witnessed the signing, reaffirming the commitment to peaceful and fair elections in the province.
