South Korean Ambassador Lee Sang-hwa visited Pampanga to discuss development programs and potential investments, reinforcing South Korea’s strong ties with the province.
Joining the envoy were former president and Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and Clark Development Corp. (CDC) president and CEO Atty. Agnes Devanadera, who welcomed discussions on economic partnerships.
The visit highlighted South Korea’s growing interest in Pampanga, particularly in infrastructure, business ventures, and tourism, given the province’s strategic location and economic growth.
CDC and local officials emphasized Pampanga’s potential as a hub for foreign direct investments, citing recent expansions in Clark and the province’s push for sustainable development.
Ambassador Lee reaffirmed South Korea’s commitment to fostering stronger trade and diplomatic ties with Pampanga, noting previous collaborations in various sectors, including manufacturing and technology.
Arroyo and Devanadera, both key figures in Pampanga’s development, expressed optimism that South Korean investments would further boost employment and innovation in the region.
With strengthened bilateral ties, Pampanga continues to position itself as a prime destination for international partnerships and economic growth, drawing increased attention from global investors.
