PAMPANGA, Philippines – Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo, regional director of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), conducted a surprise emergency drill on March 25, 2025, to evaluate the Pampanga Police Provincial Office’s (PPO) readiness and response efficiency. The unannounced Simulation Exercise (SIMEx) assessed how quickly officers and mobile patrol units could react to emergency situations.
The drill included two scenarios: a shooting incident in Barangay Baliti, City of San Fernando, where police responded in 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and an emergency at a Jollibee branch in Sto. Tomas, where officers arrived in just 1 minute and 40 seconds. The Pampanga PPO Command Center demonstrated its ability to track and monitor all patrol vehicles in real time using GPS, ensuring round-the-clock police visibility.

Pampanga PPO provincial director Colonel Jay Dimaandal highlighted the importance of operational readiness in ensuring public safety. He said the successful drill not only tested the unit’s response time but also reinforced the command center’s capacity to monitor and deploy forces effectively. Dimaandal assured the public that Pampanga PPO will continue improving its strategies and maximizing resources to strengthen law enforcement efforts across the province.
