Farmer found dead in Aurora

A missing farmer was found dead with bullet wounds in the body on a ravine in Bgy. Dimabuno, Dipaculao, Aurora.

Dipaculao Police Chief Maj. Michelle Paulino identified the victim as Deomedes Nidoy, 58, of Purok 1, Bgy. Mucdol, Dipaculao, Aurora.

Paulino said the victim left their house at Bgy. Mucdol on a motorcycle to visit his coconut plantation in mountainous Sitio Bisek, Bgy. Dimabuno, but never returned home.

The family of the victim decided to look for him but along the way, they saw the victim’s motorcycle and later found the lifeless body of the victim on the ravine.

They sought help from barangay captain Randy Paborian, who informed the police.

During the search, the police found near the victim’s body a .45 live bullet and four empty shells.

The victim’s sister told police that allegedly, the owner of the adjacent land threatened her brother and a cousin over a land dispute.
