ANGELES CITY– The City Government under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. has distributed an additional 19,232 food packs to indigent families in the city.
This is the third series of food pack distribution, bringing the total to 91,011.
The additional food packs covered Barangays Pulung Maragul, Balibago, Sapalibutad, Cuayan, Margot, Agapito del Rosario, Pandan, Capaya, Mining, Sto. Rosario, Sto. Domingo, Lourdes North West, and Malabanias.
Each food pack contains 4 kilos of rice and 10 canned goods, which is good for a family of five persons for four days.
According to Mayor Lazatin, the distribution will be a “continuous process” in all 33 barangays in the city until the end of the Enhanced Community Quarantine on April 30, 2020.
“We want to assure people that our distribution of food packs and other assistance will be continuous until the end of our community quarantine.
We will do everything we can to cover the needs of all our constituents, especially our marginalized sectors,” he said.
