Filipino veteran actor Menggie Cobarrubias or Domingo Cobarrubias in real life passed away Thursday morning due to complications from pneumonia.
His wife Gina Cobarrubias confirmed on a Facebook post: “Goodbye my love. Thank you for the 30 wonderful years.
I love you. Dear God please give me the strength to be able to face this very difficult moment of my life.”
On Wednesday evening, the actor posted “Good bye” as if knowing the spirit of death will arrive soon.
His colleagues in film industry have expressed sorrow on his sudden passing.
The 68-year old actor was tested for COVID-19 and results were not yet released.
