Three tested positive for COVID-19 in Pampanga

Two prime medical institutions here in Pampanga have confirmed a total of three positive cases for COVID-19.

The Medical City Clark (TMCC) has two positive cases of COVID-19 under its care, the medical institution announced Thursday evening.

The patients who are both in stable condition were identified persons under investigation upon evaluation.

TMCC said after their evaluation, the patients were placed in negative pressure isolation rooms as they are assumed COVID-19 positive. 

“The hospital has mobilized a robust response plan which includes intensified infection control and decontamination measures and hospital safety protocols since February,” TMCC said in its statement. 

Meanwhile, the Angeles University Foundation Medical Center (AUFMC) also announced that one of its patient identified as person under investigation tested positive for coronavirus disease.

The elderly patient who was transferred from Apalit was confined due to respiratory symptoms.

“All staff who had close contact with the patient have been accounted for and will be undergoing  the mandatory 14-day quarantine mandated by DOH. We wish to assure the public that safeguards are strictly enforced at AUF Medical Center to prevent the spread of the virus,” written in the AUFMC official statement.
