Dr. Irineo “Bong” Alvaro (left), chairman of Bridges for Benevolent Initiatives Foundation (BBIF) is given a brief history and tour of facilities at World Medical Relief, Inc (WMRI) by Dr. George Samson, fellow Capampangan and president and CEO of the Michigan-based charitable organization. The two talked about exploring cooperation on medical outreaches to indigent communities during the former’s visit to the leading NGO that has helped over 200 countries and states for the past 60 years. Alvaro was joined by executive staff headed by son Carlo Alvaro and assistants Jeff Del Mundo and Enix Salvador in the visit. (Noel G. Tulabut)
