Nineteen-year-old half German-half Filipino, Joaquin Rudolfo Rosallosa, was hailed ‘Mister Global Teen 2016’ on October 22 at the Nakarin Space in Bangkok, Thailand.
Rosallosa, standing six feet and three inch-tall, is the first Philippine bet to win in the international pageant. He is a Customs Administration senior at the Systems Plus College Foundation (SPCF) in Balibago, Angeles City
“My first pageant was the Mr. SPCF wherein I bagged first runner-up and on the same night, one of the judges who happened to be the Director of the Mister Philippines 2016 invited me to join the screening. I had second thoughts because this will surely affect my studies and this will be costly. But Sir Larry Garcia encouraged me to grab the opportunity and SPCF funded all the expenses as I take the journey to the coveted award,” Rosallosa said. –Larrica Cunanan
