Some 50 students from both public and private schools in the City of San Fernando have participated during the On-the-Spot Painting Contest and Spoken Word Poetry Competition.
The competition was held at the Vista Mall Pampanga on November 15, 2018. The participants have expressed their thoughts and concerns regarding environmental problems in the country.
The annual activity is in line with the celebration of National Environmental Awareness Month and National Clean Air Month which is spearheaded by the City Environment and Natural Resources Office headed by Ms. Regina Rodriguez.
The competition is composed of two categories, the secondary and tertiary.
The following are the winners of On-the-Spot-Painting Contest under the Secondary level:
· Hendrix Celeste of Dolores Stand Alone Senior High School (1st place)
· Cathlene Nunag of Information and Communication Technology High School (2nd place)
· Charles Marius Chavez of Malpitic High School (3rd place)
Tertiary Level winners:
· Joseph Stacy Keach of Asian Caregiving and Technology Education Center (1st place)
· Christian Stephen Finnley B. Lar of University of the Assumption (2nd place)
· Benson Santos of Central Luzon College of Science and Technology (3rd place)
Winners for the Spoken Word Poetry Competition under the Secondary Level:
· Chrissan Bolario of Northville High School (1st place)
· Vincent Ocampo of Sta. Lucia Integrated School (2nd place)
· Kathleen Joyce Calilung of Pampanga High School (3rd place)
Tertiary Level winners:
· Prince Jonald Yutuc of City College of San Fernando, Pampanga (1st place)
· Christele Marie Caparas of University of the Assumption (2nd place)
· Joshua Santiago of Central Luzon College of Science and Technology (3rd place)
