An Australian national and six others were arrested during a buy-bust operation in a drug den in Mabalacat City on July 11, 2019.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron N. Aquino said operatives of PDEA Regional Office III (PDEA ROIII) under the supervision of Director Gil T. Pabilona, and Philippine Air Force (PAF) conducted the buy-bust operation in a drug den in Block 5, South Daang Bakal, Mabalacat City, Pampanga that led to the arrest of suspects identified as George L. Georgeff, an Australian national, 38 years old; Roque C. Rosielda, drug den maintainer, 50; Arnold G. Padilla, 25; Emmanuel E. Gaddi, 39; Roland S. Geraldo, 29; Norman G. Rivera, 18; and Raddy O. Tabuso, 46.
Confiscated during the operation were 11 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, weighing more or less 20 grams, with an estimated value of Php136,000.00, several drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
