Mayor Lazatin assures more courses, classrooms for CCA

ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. said he will augment the budget of the City College of Angeles (CCA) in a bid to provide additional courses and classrooms.

Mayor Lazatin said he will work closely with Rep. Carmelo “Jonjon” Lazatin II “in the sourcing of funds for the development of our best resource — the human resource, through education.”

“For education is our bridge to the future, and we have to make sure that each and every child is given equal opportunity to quality education,” said Mayor Lazatin.

Mayor Lazatin said “poverty should never be an excuse for not giving our children a better chance for a brighter future.”

“We will improve our day care centers by maintaining the buildings, providing adequate equipment and making sure that daycare workers are well-compensated and with proper trainings, especially in English,” said Mayor Lazatin.

The day care centers will be free of charge and fully subsidized by the city government, according to Mayor Lazatin. “The day care education is the foundation of our children’s education that is why my administration will put premium on it.”

The local chief executive said he will ask Rep. Lazatin to prioritize the repair and construction of school buildings. He said “day care centers will be free of charge and fully subsidized by the city government.”

“The day care education is the foundation of our children’s education that is why my administration will put premium on it,” said Mayor Lazatin. “The special education fund will be properly utilized to suit the urgent needs of public schools.”
